This Electrical Impedance Imaging System produces 50kHz magnetic fields around the entity to be imaged, and senses induced voltages on the surface of the entity.

It then works out the magnitude and phase of these voltages and the results are fetched by a host computer which uses a back projection algorithm to determine an image of the entity.
